“I’m going to really have to work hard on impressing you then. I think I can show myself up. What do you think?” He smirked over at her. A personal date was most likely going to turn into sex by the end of the night as well. But he was going to have to really, properly whoo her. ”My brother dropped my number, but I’m the one who put in all of the work tonight, right?” He shot her a knowing look. That was all him without his brother’s influence at all. He couldn’t bite back the smile that spread across his face when she seemed to get more nervous about going over the ledge. “Don’t worry. I won’t make you. That’s what I get for trying to be romantic, he teased.
She looked him over, as if sizing him up. “I don’t know, I think maybe you should have saved the whole penthouse bedroom thing for our second date. It’s going to be pretty hard to live up to.” She teased. He was going to have to seriously outdo himself to pass up tonight. First impressions were vital, after all. “Right. You put in the footwork, and you got the rewards. Though if he hadn’t dropped your number, it never would have happened.” She reminded him. Not for a while, at least, after their first encounter. “If that’s your idea of romantic, I really don’t want to know how you try to whoo women.”
“You’re right. Nothing else will ever compare to what I’ve done tonight. Although I own a nice car and live in a mansion, but you wouldn’t want to see that, right?” He shook his head as if convinced that there was no way she would want to see any of that. He knew that he could manage though. He had plenty of faith in himself. “I’ll have to thank my brother for dropping my number then. Without him, this would all just be a fantasy,” he teased. “Maybe I’ll just have to help hook him up with someone. He hasn’t gotten laid in a while. Maybe a certain, recently separated from her fiancé girl could be the solution,” he chuckled. “This is a business date. You’ll see proper wooing on our personal date.”
“Of course not. Going to your actual house would give a high probability of me running into someone else in your family. No offense,” She shrugged slightly, “But I would rather not. The car though, that’s fine.” She smiled. “The reality is much better than the fantasy, isn’t it?” She teased, wiggling her hips slightly. “I’m not playing matchmaker for that poor girl. And I’m not dragging her into your family. Sorry to burst your hopes and dreams.” She shot him a knowing look. She wasn’t agreeing to anything before she saw how things actually went with her. “Oh, well, proper wooing. That sounds… suggestive.”
“Oh, that’s such a shame. It’s not nearly as bad as you seem to think that it is.” He chuckled. But he wouldn’t force her to go to his house. “Most likely you would only see Mario. And he’s quite fond of you, I think.” He nodded, trying to convince her that was true. “Fine, I will take you around in one of my cars.” He chuckled, wrapping an arm around her waist so that he could pull her back towards the edge of the balcony again. “I definitely like reality more than fantasy.” He smirked, looking over the edge. “Oh, come on, the girl was absolutely infatuated with Mario. It would do them both a lot of good.” He shrugged. He chuckled at her suggestion. “Right, well, maybe it is suggestive.”
“I’m going to really have to work hard on impressing you then. I think I can show myself up. What do you think?” He smirked over at her. “Oh, so I suppose now I’m just good enough to get you into a Wayne event,” he teased her. He had that happen to him a few times. But he kind of brushed it off. He figured that Alva wasn’t that type of girl. And anyways, just because she slept with him didn’t mean he was going to start going to events with her all the time or something else ridiculous. “I’ll send all of the ankle biters a big thank you card then. I would have seriously been missing out right now.” He smirked at her slightly. “I’m very stingy. This view is all for myself.” He stopped at the barrier that kept them from going down the many stories to the ground. “Don’t look down this time,” he teased her. It was kind of cute how afraid to seemed of falling or something. He was trying not to chastise her though:”
“Eventually you will be. You still have a bit to go. I agreed to go on another date with you, remember?” She reminded him. Did he honestly think she was just going to use him to get a one night stand with the perpetual bachelor of Gotham? “I’m sure they’ll love it. It’s more than they usually get.” She rolled her eyes slightly. “How did I know? Spoiled little rich boys never wanting to share any of their toys.” She teased, putting her hands against the rail and pushing back just slightly so she didn’t have the urge to look over. “Remember, you told me you would hold me back if I wanted to, so I didn’t feel like I would fall.” She teased.
“You did agree to another date. One that was less business and more personal.” he smirked slightly, ” I can’t even imagine how that will work out in the long run. Considering our business date found us in bed together.” He bit back a small smile. He wasn’t complaining about that turn of events though. At all. “I only don’t like to share things that I put the work into earning, fair and square.” He smiled. It was true though. He wasn’t going to willingly let people snatch her up when he was sitting right there. “I solemnly swear that I will not let you fall over the edge. Did you want to look over the edge? he teased. “We can do it Titanic style, where you stand on the outside of te ledge.”
She smirked slightly. She had been thinking the same thing. What was a personal date going to entail when their business meeting turned into sex? “Well, you’ll have to come up with something more impressive than that, obviously. I expect personal dates to be much more entertaining than business dates.” She teased. “Oh, so you put work into earning me? I’m fairly certain your brother just slipped me your number.” She shot him a knowing look. She furrowed her eyebrows and pulled back slightly from him when he mentioned that. Her stomach effectively swapped places with her heart for a moment before sinking into her gut. “No. That’s absolutely fine. I’m great here, on the safe edge of the balcony.”

“Don’t be so sure. You managed to get into the Falcone penthouse. That’s just one step below being able to meet Bruce Wayne and get invited to his penthouse. We both know he likes his pretty girls.” He chuckled, shaking his head. “No, I’m really not jealous that he has a better view. Why would I need to be jealous? I already have a damn good view right here.” He smirked, holding the door open so that she could go out onto the balcony. “Well, maybe I just like the sound of my own voice. and I know that it can’t be that bad.” He shrugged, knowing that it in fact was not bad at all. “You can trust me. I would never push you over. It’s not my style,” he teased her.
“Oh, so next thing I know Gotham’s most eligible bachelor is going to be inviting me out for dinner? If I had known that, I would have done this a lot sooner. Here I was working up from the bottom of the food chain.” She laughed. “Oh right, no, the view here is really lovely. You know, you just can’t see as far as if you were at Wayne Tower.” She teased. “Unless you’re talking about me,” She shot him a knowing look and made her way out onto the balcony, “In which case, no, right now you have the best view in the city.” She did try to seem unimpressed by the view, though compared to the view from her place, this was lovely. “No, I suppose it isn’t. You’re definitely more of a shooter.” She shot him a knowing look.
“Well, that’s all on you,” he chuckled. “If you get an invite, it’s solely because you worked your charm on him. Not because you went on a date with me,” he teased. “Now you know that you haven’t had to date a bunch of people at the bottom. Look at you. Jumped from one end of the spectrum to the other.” He chuckled at her very cocky response. She was a very impressive view indeed. And he tried to not think too much on how she looked under her dress too. “Ive definitely got the best view right now. Bruce Wayne has nothing on this.” He moved closer to drape an arm over her shoulders as he moved them closer to the edge of the balcony. “Well, sure, I’m much more of a shooter, but you don’t have to worry about all that.” He smiled down at her knowing look. This was nice enough now. “Beats having to rush out the door, right?”
“Well I don’t know how I would meet him without knowing someone who actually gets invited to his events.” She teased. “You have no idea how many ankle biters I had to wade through to get where I am today. But obviously it was all worth it, because now I’m in your penthouse.” She smirked over at him, looking him over quickly. “And I’m willing to bet you’re stingy enough to not share.” She was trying to ignore the churning in her stomach as he lead her closer to the edge. “Beats having some skeezy cab driver hit on my for half an hour.” She laughed slightly.
“Oh, so I suppose now I’m just good enough to get you into a Wayne event,” he teased her. He had that happen to him a few times. But he kind of brushed it off. “I do think I’m pretty charming. I mean, it runs in the family.” He smiled over at her, the smile that always won over people whether he was trying or not. “I would hate to tempt you though. I didn’t realize my voice was that awful to you,” he teased. He looked himself over in the mirror to make sure everything was smoothed over and back in place. He looked pretty put together to himself. “If you wanted me to, I would. But I highly doubt that you would want to be looking over the ledge like that.” He chuckled, moving back over to her to lead her out of the room once she had her shoes on. “I don’t want to freak you out. I genuinely want to show this nice view. It’s the best you’ll get without going to Wayne Tower.”
“I don’t know, I’ve seen better.” She teased, ignoring that smile he sent her. She could send charming, award winning smiles, too. It wasn’t something special. “It’s absolutely awful. That would be why I was trying to keep you so quiet before.” She smirked over at him. He knew better, hopefully. “You would be surprised what I’m willing to do regardless of my fear of heights.” She followed him, though. “Well, I’ll never get in that place, so I guess this is the best I can do.”
“Well, excuse me,” he chuckled. “Here I was thinking that bringing you up all of these floors, which also including distracting you in the elevator, was going to be worth it because of the view. But you’ve seen better,” he teased. He shook his head slightly, smirking back over at her. “I’m sorry that I keep talking then. My voice must be driving you up the wall.” He walked with her through the sitting room area to go to the doors leading out to the balcony. “Well, if you’d like to look over the edge, be my guest. I’ll make sure you don’t fall.”
“I never said I’ve seen better. I just said I would never get into Wayne Tower.” She furrowed her eyebrows slightly. “You’re not jealous that Wayne has a better view than you, are you?” She teased, smiling slightly. “And yet you just keep talking. Such a gentleman. Really.” She smirked over at him. “I’m not sure I trust you, you might push me off instead.”
“Don’t be so sure. You managed to get into the Falcone penthouse. That’s just one step below being able to meet Bruce Wayne and get invited to his penthouse. “You’ll just have to put up with me now,” he teased her as he stepped back into his pants and get them situated around his hips, belt buckled again. “Okay, no more of the view, unless you wanted to go out on the balcony.” He chuckled quietly. “We have this place for entertaining people while we’re in the city. And it’s helpful when we’re too tired to drive all the way back up to the Palisades and need somewhere to sleep. Not to mention, my dad just likes to have it,” he shrugged. His dad had the money, he could spend it how he wanted. He moved up to her to help her get the zipper back up her dress. “All put back together again.”
“Damn, I thought I would get away with just enjoying a nice penthouse for a bit. I have to put up with you, though.” She rolled her eyes playfully. “Is there a solid rail? Because if there isn’t, I’m just fine inside. You know, in solid walls.” She turned back around when he got her zipper up, putting her hair back off her shoulder. “Thank you.” She smiled slightly. “So, since this is your place, after all, what exactly do you suggest we do now?”
“I know, I’m very difficult to put up with when you aren’t doing a good job of making me keep my mouth shut.” He winked over at her. He picked up his shirt once he was done with her zipper and pulled it on, making quick work of the buttons. “There’s a solid rail. You wouldn’t fall over or anything.” He teased her slightly. It was almost cute how scared she was of the heights. At least to him. He was sure it was awful for her. He got his shirt back in place and smoothed out any wrinkles before putting his tie back on. “Well, why don’t we go out there and see the view? I promise, I won’t let you fall. If you look down though, that’s all your fault.”
“Don’t tempt me, if I need to I can make you stay quiet.” She raised an eyebrow at him. “You think you’re so charming.” She shook her head slightly. Not that he wasn’t, but she wasn’t going to go falling for it. “Aw, you mean you’re not going to hold me so I can look over without feeling like I’ll fall?” She teased, smirking to herself. She nodded, “Right. The view.” She slipped her shoes back on. “I think you just want to see me freak out.”
“I do think I’m pretty charming. I mean, it runs in the family.” He smiled over at her, the smile that always won over people whether he was trying or not. “I would hate to tempt you though.
